This beautiful starter was started by Linda and Paul of Dauphine Bakery in 2001. The sourdough is active and living and its name is Lou Lou. The starter comes with a beginner recipe as well. Its the same starter that they use weekly to leaven their beautiful loaves that you can find at their bakery and farmers' markets.
Ingredients: flour, water and wild yeast
